Wendy Williams admits tour was a bust by canceling final show

It’s over.

Wendy Williams has canceled the one remaining show date of her “For the Record…Umm Hmm!” tour. The Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg, Florida, announced on its website, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, this event has been cancelled [sic].”

The event was scheduled for Sept. 21, though it was originally supposed to take place in August.

However, a source previously told Page Six that the 55-year-old daytime talk show host’s “unforeseen circumstances” and “scheduling issues” that led to cancelations of her Detroit, Philadelphia and Newark shows are all euphemisms for low ticket sales.

Meanwhile, Williams is full steam ahead on her eponymous show, which was just renewed for two more seasons, which we’re told will be her “swan song.”
