Juicy J Apologizes For Glorifying Drugs In His Music
Rapper and producer Juicy J has apologized for glorifying drugs in his music, weeks after the death of Juice Wrld.
Juice Wrld’s death rocked the hip hop community after he allegedly swallowed several Percocet pills while trying to hide then from the feds who were conducting a search of his plane after a tip from the pilot.
“If I inspired anybody to do drugs, I apologize,” he tweeted.
Just last week, Roc Nation rapper Vic Mensa spoke out blaming rapper who promoted drug use for the death of Juice Wrld.
“We need to recognize that the shit we talk about influences children. So when we are steady pushing a message of lean and Percocets and Xans, we are polluting the minds of the youth. We have a responsibility to give it to them in a real way. Not to say that you can’t talk about your real life and the things that are happening, but I think that we need to start holding each other and ourselves accountable for our glorification of the drug culture, 100 percent,” he explained to TMZ.
