A photograph supposedly showing a group of women wearing shirts bearing the phrase “I’m a Racist Bitch” was widely circulated on social media in September 2019. Many of the people sharing this image did so with the claim that these women were supporting U.S. President Donald Trump and they were “proud” to be racists:

This photograph was taken during a Trump rally in Greenville, North Carolina. Gerri McDaniel, the director of Trump’s campaign efforts in South Carolina, shared it on Twitter.
