R&B legend Donell Jones wants his fans to know he’s no longer in the clutches of debt, addiction, a smoking habit and other vices that affected him throughout his career.
His new album “100% free!” is exactly that: 100% free. Jones will release it to his fans in a matter of days.
Jones cemented his musical legacy long ago with chart-topping hits like “Where I Wanna Be” and “U Know What’s Up.”
But all that glitters is not gold. Jones says he dealt with crippling addictions along the way, and they led him to take a break from making music.
He built a successful career despite his demons. Now, clear of the crushing weight that hampered his personal life, the R&B icon feels he’s reborn and just getting started again. He even gave up smoking.
Jones is open and honest about his setbacks and his triumphs, and explains how “100% Free!” is his most daring step yet.

The vid for “Wild” — costarring Chrissy — premiered Thursday and near the end of it, you can see her cradling her tummy. John’s sensual track, featuring Gary Clark Jr., is one helluva dedication to his wife of almost 6 years.
Some of the lyrics include, “I wanna drive you wild, wild, wild. I wanna love you for miles and miles. We can go slow, we don’t need to rush. I’ll take the wheel, make you feel every touch. I wanna drive you wild, wild, wild.”
Btw, John and Chrissy’s two other kids — 4-year-old daughter Luna and 2-year-old son Miles — also appear in the music video near the end … as the family takes a nice stroll on the beach with the sun setting as their picturesque backdrop.

Royalty Brown, 5, looked like she was at a grown-up brunch (minus the alcohol, of course) while sipping on orange juice from a champagne glass with her grandma Joyce Hawkins (Chris Brown’s mom) and her “MeMe” (a nickname commonly used for grandmothers). The adorable trio smiled as they raised their glasses of OJ for a toast, and the sweet moment was shared on Royalty’s Instagram page on April 15. “My NaNa and MeMe! #StayHome,” read the caption (presumably written by Royalty’s mother, Nia Guzman).
As you can see, Royalty is having a blast amid her quarantine! A source close to Chris EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife that “Royalty isn’t missing out” despite California’s shelter-in-place order, and that her family keeps “her plenty busy with lots of arts and crafts projects, and games. She loves to go swimming, and of course the TikTok dances Royalty loves to do.” Royalty filmed one of these TikTok dance challenges with her grandma, Joyce, which Chris couldn’t help but laugh at (due to his mother’s adorable offbeat moves) when he shared the clip on April 9.
Although Royalty’s quarantine hasn’t been a snooze, the little one is still being kept safe. “Royalty’s health and safety are the number one priority at all times,” our source further added. “Chris and Nia aren’t taking any chances when it comes to protecting their daughter. They don’t allow her to come into contact with anyone other than their own family members and she doesn’t even leave any of their homes to go out in public.”

Looking great, Gabourey Sidibe, that is what many fans are saying after the Empire actress unveiled a sexy picture showing off her slim figure.
This week, the talented star and filmmaker posted a photo where she is wearing a pair of black leggings and matching top.
The outspoken New Yorker completed the look with high heel boots and a khaki jacket. Miss Sidibe was still rocking her beautiful afro and braids.
For those, who are not aware of it, the activist and author is an animal lover and is the proud owner of a silly cat named Aaron.
In the caption for the gorgeous picture, Sidibe revealed something that only cat lovers would know and understand — it is very hard to wear black because of all the fur that is often left on sofas or beds.
She wrote: “Do y’all even know how hard it is to wear black when you have a cat?”
One fan told Sidibe she looked great and offered a solution to the fur issue by writing: “We had a similar experience when our male cat came home from the vet. Our female cat wouldn’t go near him cause he smelled differently so she wouldn’t eat or go to the box. So we put an extra table close to where she felt safe. It worked. Confine her to a small space temporary with everything she needs. This will limit the mess to one place. Eventually she will realize, and hopefully, this will help. Ice Cube Says John Witherspoon Won’t Be CGI’d Into Last Friday
Since the unexpected death of John Witherspoon, Ice Cube has reportedly had to re-think the next installment of the Friday franchise. TMZ caught up with the rapper-turned-actor recently and asked him whether or not they would include a CGI-version of John in the film.
According to the entertainment news outlet, the rapper suggested there was a problem with New Line Cinema, the production company, due to slowing the developmental phase of the film. As it was previously reported, John – who played Cube’s father in the series – passed away earlier this year.
As CGI becomes more sophisticated and efficient, additional studios have begun using it. In fact, Carrie Fisher was included in Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker despite her death several years ago. For that reason, discussions revolving around CGI have only intensified.
TMZ asked Ice Cube whether he would consider including a CGI-Witherspoon in the film, and the rapper couldn’t have been more clear and succinct.
Regarding the film’s release, Ice Cube stated, “it’s all on New Line, man.” At the moment, it’s unclear whether the new Friday movie will be coming out anytime soon.
Ice Cube is reportedly not happy with New Line Cinema due to thwarting the movie’s production and release.
John Witherspoon died in October of this year in his Sherman Oaks, California home, and TMZ reports that he had been suffering several heart-related illnesses before he finally passed away.
The death certificated noted his death as at 5:30 pm. In the dispatch audio, the dispatcher initially asked for rescue for a man losing consciousness, however, he later canceled it due to John dying.
Fans of John know he has been an entertainment industry figure for many years. Mr. Witherspoon is perhaps most famous, however, for his role in the Friday movies as well as The Boondocks, a cult-classic animated comedy show about a black family settling into a middle-class area.

Lil Wayne may face federal court charges after federal agents greeted him upon arrival in Miami on Monday, they searched the rapper’s private plane and discovered illegal substances and a firearm on board.
Officers from the Miami–Dade Police Department obtained information that the “Lollipop” performer was transporting drugs and guns on the aircraft and, as a result, contacted the federal agency to receive permission to search the plane when it landed at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport.
The search operation was swiftly carried out on Monday evening, and it reportedly included agents of the FBI, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and police officers from Miami-Dade.
As a result, the investigators discovered amounts of cocaine and a gun.
The aircraft, which had enough space for up to 14 passengers and crew members, was making its course from California. After it was stopped, all of the people on board were detained until the investigation was completed.
According to Lil Wayne’s lawyer, Howard Srebnik, the rapper was eventually allowed to depart from the airport.
News of what happened quickly appeared on social media, and many people commented on Twitter and Instagram about the rapper’s troubles with the police.
Via social media, Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., reacted to the search with a little joke by saying that he rooted for the Packers and the feds got confused because he shortened the football team’s name to “Pack.”
He wrote: “All goody! I think they thought I was talking abt a different “Pack” in my last tweet. But anyway, GO PACK GO!!!”

Yandy Smith Announces She’s Officially Adopted Her Foster Daughter
Yandy Smith is a mother to three beautiful kids, however one of them only recently became officially hers.
During an event called The Winterland Bliss, the Love & Hip Hop: New York star revealed that she’s adopted her foster daughter, Infinity, and explained why it was important to bring her into her family originally.
“I just wanted to make a difference in Infinity’s life,” she told News 12. “I felt like it was important for her to have proper guidance. Fast forward to today, she is my big girl and I’m officially her mommy.
Infinity, who was also at the event, spoke to the news station about how lucky she was to be adopted by such a special family.
“It’s a blessing to be able to be that close,” she said. “And, you know, I just was welcomed into the family. I feel like one of them, and I think for those reasons I’m blessed.”
