Cardi B Posts Video Of Herself Getting A Bikini Wax & Twitter Has Questions
Even a global pandemic won’t stop Cardi B from getting a bikini wax.
On Sunday (April 26), the “Press” rapper shared multiple videos of herself getting waxed while wearing a KN95 mask.
“Today is pain day,” Cardi captioned the first clip of the three-part video, which showed her screaming in absolute agony. At one point, she asked for “the nail lady” to come hold her hand as she prepared for another strip of hair to be waxed.
While some couldn’t get enough of the video, joking about how Cardi was acting like she was “giving birth,” others questioned why she wasn’t practicing social distancing amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Cardi B is getting a wax…. Quarantine doesn’t have the same meaning everywhere,” one wrote on Twitter. Another Twitter user added, “Is Cardi getting a bikini wax while wearing a n95 mask? Sis, we’re suppose to be in quarantine ??♀️??♀️??♀️.”
As fans know, Cardi has been quite vocal about the coronavirus pandemic and the government’s response to it. Just last week, she called out Georgia’s governor for choosing to reopen non-essential businesses throughout the state.
“I just want to let people DONT GO AROUND YOUR PARENTS OR GRANDPARENTS! Once there sick and in the hospital wit covid you won’t be able to see how and what they treating them with,” Cardi wrote on Instagram Wednesday (April 22). “They will literally have them die slow !They are not nurturing covid patience with the proper foods ,tea to boost their immunes.STRAIGHT MEDICATION !Your parents , grandparents or YOU will most likely pass by yourself in a cold hospital with no physical contact with your love ones .HEALTH OVER CAPITALISM!”
