Blue Ivy Carter, 8, enjoys courtside seats with dad Jay-Z at a Lakers game in Los Angeles

Jay-Z was all smiles as he escorted his daughter Blue Ivy to watch the Los Angeles Lakers take the LA Clippers on Sunday at the Staples Center.

During the game, the rapper, 50, wrapped his arm around his little girl, eight, as they sat courtside and watched the city rivals take the court by storm.

Blue, who wore her long hair in braids, sported an all-black ensemble, combat boots and kept a light-wash jean jacket on her lap during the game.

Without Blue’s mother Beyoncé in attendance, the pair soaked in some quality father daughter time, while cheering on their team.

Throughout the game, Blue leaned on her dad’s shoulder and seemed enthused during the plays.

For the special outing, the Empire State of Mind hitmaker, who also shares twins Sir and Rumi, twins, with his wife, wore a grey sweatshirt, gold chain and a Rhude baseball cap, which repped Los Angeles.

Blue appeared lively for the majority of the game and kept her eyes fixated on the court, just like Jay-Z.

In one adorable moment, Blue whispered to her dad, who chuckled and started pointing out what was happening.

Later in the game, fans could see the mini-Beyonce mimicking his hand gestures and telling her dad where to look.

After the game, Jay Z’s eldest daughter looked overjoyed on the court and shook hands with the players in her Fendi boots.

When she turned around, the little girl put her custom jacket on full display, which read: ‘Blue is my name.’

The rapper looked pleased to introduce his daughter to some players and she smiled softly on the court after the game.

Beyonce’s daughter proved she was a loyal fan, as her facial expressions ranged from distressed to excited, as the ball zoomed by just feet away from her seat.

Attending sporting events together appears to be a hit for pair, who also went to the Super Bowl together last month.

Jay, who is currently on the NFL payroll as a creative advisor, seemed excited about the festivities after revealing he actually turned down the coveted Super Bowl halftime show years ago.

This year he revealed he turned down the chance to perform the Super Bowl half-time in a New York Times article because of the restrictions placed on him for the show.

Speaking out, he explained the NFL had made it a condition of the gig that he bring along Kanye West and Rihanna as guest performers on his track Run This Town.

‘Of course I would have,’ Jay-Z told the paper of the interaction. ‘But I said, “No, you get me.”

‘That is not how you go about it, telling someone that they’re going to do the halftime show contingent on who they bring. I said forget it. It was a principle thing.’

Jay Z spoke out about the missed opportunity, which happened a few years ago, as he explained why he partnered with the NFL last year, to his fans’ outrage.

‘As long as real people are being hurt and marginalized and losing family members, then yes, I can take a couple rounds of negative press,’ he said in his NYT interview.
