Billy Dee Williams Comes Out The Closet – I’m Gender Fluid

Legendary actor Billy Dee Williams has come out – as gender fluid. That means he doesn’t consider himself to be a male, or female exclusively – he’s both.

The 82 year old Star Wars actor recently opened up about his “gender fluidity” in an interview with Esquire. The actor uses the pronouns he/him and she/her to describe himself. “I say ‘himself’ and ‘herself,’ because I also see myself as feminine as well as masculine,” he said. “I’m a very soft person. I’m not afraid to show that side of myself.”

“I never tried to be anything except myself,” Williams told Esquire in an interview that published Tuesday.

“And you see I say ‘himself’ and ‘herself,’ because I also see myself as feminine as well as masculine,” he added. “I’m a very soft person. I’m not afraid to show that side of myself.”

Williams reprised his iconic role as the smuggler turned Cloud City administrator in the upcoming installment of the space fantasy series, “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” which is slated to hit theaters on Dec. 20

Billie Dee also claimed that the most memorable moment of his career as his role in Brian’s Song as Gale Sayers, a 1971 Emmy award winning film about two football players who were roommates and best friends.

“It was a love story, really,” Williams said of that film. “Between two guys. Without sex. It ended up being a kind of breakthrough in terms of racial division.”

Alrighty then . . .
